ABOUT

In light of the current state of affairs in fandom (namely So Many Things Happening So Much, All The Time) this community has been created as a way to file and find fannish works of fiction independently of social media sites, OTW kerfuffles, or the hot new Torment Nexus of the week. While we do not have the technical know-how (nor the spoons) to create an alternative to Tumblr, AO3, or Wattpad, we are very good at data entry! Therefore, anyone who wishes to can link their work here to be indexed, tagged, and kept in a public directory for other fans to browse.

Posting is limited to members to avoid spam, and entries are moderated to ensure accurate tagging, but membership is open to everyone, and all works are accepted no matter the content as long as they are properly tagged and warned for!



RULES

  • 1. Don't be a jerk. Harassment is not permitted for any reason, regardless of shape or medium, and will result in banning.

  • 2. Respect others' posts. Recs are allowed (and encouraged!) as long as they pertain to the same author as the entry you're commenting on.

  • 3. Follow the tagging system. Untagged posts will simply not be approved, so this is really more about saving yourself the frustration of having to resubmit entries.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

  • Any hosting site is accepted: Dreamwidth, AO3, Tumblr, Neocities -- as long as it is accessible for free, it's more than welcome to the index.

  • Multi-chapter works and short fic collections (such as ship/character week drabbles) should be posted in a single masterpost entry. An example can be found [here].

  • Summaries should be preferably kept to three paragraphs, and tags to a maximum of 20; anything longer is permissible but should go under a cut. Please add a line break before and after your summary for ease of reading.

  • Links to personal archives and social media are permitted at the end of each post. Help readers find your other works!

  • This community operates on an assumption of good faith; works containing untagged triggering topics must include the Author Chose Not To Tag warning. If a work is reported as missing requisite tags (and requisite tags only), its post will be set to private until corrected. Note that attempts to use the report system as a tool for harassment will be considered grounds for banning.
